Stories for my friends - Tips for strangers.

Monday, January 4, 2010

I have a post I wrote last night, but I need to find somewhere with wifi to do it. It's a beautiful day today. Blue skies splotched with soft white clouds. Cold, but bearable. The city is dirty and impersonal, but familiar enough to survive. This is going to be a good day.

I miss my friends in Gainesville. If you're reading, let me know!

"Somewhere with wifi" definitely does not include our apartment.

By the way, the way I get free wifi in public is to have my Starbucks gift card registered online. Then you can get free AT&T wifi at Starbucks whenever you need it (assuming the policy is the same in NYC as it is here).

Starbucks actually changed their policy, and you don't automatically get the 2 hours free anymore. That is where I used the internet yesterday, though. Today, I am at Sarah's. Thanks!

Ooh, thanks for letting me know - it's bad news for me, but maybe the first step to breaking the Starbucks addiction.
